At the start of the topic I asked the children what they wanted to learn. Their ideas formed the basis for the display (Transport, Homes, Clothes, Dancing, Food etc) and as we looked at each sub topic the display was added to. After each topic lesson the children wrote something new they had learnt on to a 'learning brick' and added it to our 'learning wall'.
